We will be holding you in our thoughts tomorrow from South Africa and Oz! We all have our different memories of times with Ken...be it in Jozi, Oakhill, Bristol or Somerset West. Mom and dad's trips to the UK, my early days in travel, staying over with friends, as did James with Gav, to a trip when I was with Adrian, walks in the gorgeous forest in your village, a fun weekend to Buttonquail with Rose and Ken, taking Ive and I around Bath, one particular winey, hilarious night in your lounge! I think of music always when I think of Ken and of his very clever and learned mind, how he'd listen hard to what you spoke about and would nod and say "yip, yeh", and then his big smile! You certainly packed so much into life Ken. Grateful that FB allowed us to see what you got up to since we lost saw you here!

Rest easy Ken.....Lighting a candle for you all🕯️. How blessed he was to have Rose, Nic and Julie with him and that he had so much peace and beautiful music around him in those last days. Much love for you all xx

From the Wild Spirit branch of the family on the Garden Route of South Africa, we hold you all in our hearts today, as we remember with great pleasure and nostalgia our special holidays with Ken, Rose, Nic and Julie. Oh, how we enjoyed those special times, reflecting now on Ken's special role within the extended family. Earle and I recall a particularly delightful holiday in Oakhill, when no matter what the weather, Ken was always game for yet another adventure...Up hill and down dale, into and out of old historical buildings, across bridges and into fascinating ruins, inevitably rounding it all off in the pub! Often entertaining us with stories, through which he shared his deep appreciation and reverence for the woodlands and all creatures wild, Ken's eyes twinkled with enthusiasm. Always the perfect host and so generous, dear Ken, you will be long remembered by us all. Journey onwards, happliy, knowing you have lived a full and meaningful life.

Such fond memories of fun times spent with a lovely man and a special friend. I will miss you, Ken. RIP
